E-Shopping Aur Dhokha

Padhney Waalon, Yeh Yaad Rakho
Kabhi  Kabhi Aisa Bhi Hota Hai -
E-SHOPPING Se Logon Ko
Dhokha Bhi Hota Hai.
Hum Order Kuch Karthey Hain
Par Deliver Kuch Aur Hi Hota Hai!

Chand Hafton Pehley Ki Baat Hai,
Ek Haseen Sunday Ki Shaam Thi,
Kar Rahi Main Online Kuch Kaam Thi.
Achaanak Us Par Meri Nazar Padi Thi -
‘Ads from Google’ Par Jo Tea Bag Bani Thi,

Aur Kaphi Interesting Woh Mujhe Lagi Thi.

Kehney Ko Woh Herbal Chaai Thi,
Alag Si Hai Yeh Meri Raai Thi.
Assam Ke Baagon Mein Banthi Thi,
USA Ke Kisi Site Par Bikti Thi.
Alag Alag Flavours Mein Milti Thi,
Forty Dollars Per Tin Uski Price Thi.

Kar Diya Maine Ek Tin Order, Sochkar
Yeh Ki Ab Piyungi Tea Lime & Ginger !
Phir Aaya Woh Fine Din,
Jab Deliver Hua Teabags Ka Tin.
Khola Package Tho Hui Main SHOCKED -
Huve Jo They Saarey Teabags EXPIRED!!!!!!

Likha Maine Company Ko Ek Email Stroppy
Kaha,''ALWAYS HAPPY IS NOT AT ALL HAPPY''.
Kaise Piyoon Main EXPIRED Tea?
Now Options You Have Only Two –
Send Me Doosra Brand New Pack
OR Just Give Me My Money Back''.

Reply Mein Veh Boley ''We Are Sorry.
We Will Send You New Pack Jaldi''.
Aaj Aaya Hai Naya Pack, Magar
Situation Hai Pehley Se Batthar –
Humein Mila Hai Sirf Empty Tin,
Tea Bags ya Tea Powder Ke BIN !!!!!!!!!!!

Ab Aur Nahi Karna Hai Complain
Aagey Se Sirf Rehna Hai Saavdhaan.
Fake Websites Se Humein Rehna Hai Door,
Nahi Karna Hai E-SHOPPING For Sure.
Kyonki Kabhi Miltha Hai EXPIRED GOOD,
Tho Kabhi Ho Jaatey Hain SIMPLY FOOLED !

YAAD RAKHO, KABHI KABHI AISA BHI HOTA HAI,
E-SHOPPING SE LOGON KO DHOKHA BHI HOTA HAI.
AAJ  YEH MERE SAATH HUA HAI,
KAL AAPKE  SAATH BHI HO SAKTHA HAI !!!!!! :)  :) :)

  14. hahahha Irfan. Thank you for complimenting my write up.

True, Aaj kal every mishap appears to provide fodder for my blog. Somehow I feel I can express it better through poem than through an article. Strangely, it doesnt appear as a whine when present it as poem.

  15. LMAO
But look at the bright side - it brought out the poet in Always Happy!

  16. :). Yes Purba, That is the positive side of losing forty dollars to some expired tea bags and an empty tin!

  17. Hi,

I'm feeling both sides, one is to praise yourself for writing such a fantastic poem. Another side is to feel compassion for the loss. I know there's number of sites to fudge people, all we can do is to keep dealing with trusted sites, instead of giving up e-Shopping.

But I'm feeling really happy that this incident brought you to write such a creative stuff.

This remind me of this sher:
Dil ke chhalo ko koi shayari kahe to parwah nahi,
Takleef to tab hoti hai jab koi wah wah wah karta hai !!!
    -Devdas Movie.

  18. Hey Sagar, Thank you. Yes, I agree, giving up E-shopping completely is not done. I shall not trade with sites other than amazon henceforth. they are reliable.

Wow!! That is a nice sher from devdaas. I have watched the movie but cannot recollect the sher like you do. Well done for that. Thanks again.

    Cheers
    Always Happy

  19. Hahaha...wah wah...wah wah...
I wonder what made the company people send an empty tin??hmmmm Is it because the expiry date was printed only on the tin???;)So that you could refill your tea bags is a fresh brand new tin...:)

  20. Thanks yasha.

Hahaha..that crossed my mind when I was writing this post.:) You know what, tea bags were manufactured in 2006 and they expired in 2009. So I am assuming they do not have fresh stock at all.

  21. haha... am sorry but i cant help laughing! you have an amazing way of writing poems.. very simple, to the point and so hilarious! Of course you lost ur money i understand that... and i agree.. u need to be very careful while shopping online.. thats why i only buy from reputed sites..

    Good one though :)

  22. Hey Chandana,

    :) Thank you so much.

Yes, if at all I decide to do online shopping again, I shall do it only from trusted sites.

  23. Phir ek kasam le le lete hain hum jab bhi dhokha khaate hain,
Us chandramukhi ki baaton mein hum phir bhi aa hi jaate hain.

I have had my share of bad experiences in online shopping (not many) but it hasn't stopped me from doing onlin shopping, and I don't think it will. Unless I moved to India. Amazon is my most trusted site so far, esp. if they are fulfilling the order themselves.

  26. Hehe! Nice read! :)

Although I feel a lil sad for your loss, but it taught to many things and you in return warned people about it!

PS: Thank you for visiting my blog! :)

  27. That was kinda cute AH :) But ya, sad that these fellows fooled you... Be careful next time... Never order anything from unknown sites..

  34. AH, that was not from any movie. That was my feeble attempt to romanticize your unfortunate experience.

  35. @ Div: Thank you very much. I have visited your page again and left a comment for you.

@Pooja: Oh i see. So I am not the only one then with bad experience?
    Thank you.

@Sunil: I see, it was more than nice for Devdas. If Sanjay Bhannsali, Nusrat Badr or Ismail Darbar come across you, you could be writing yrics for their next movie. Good stuff.
